The doctoral programme at the school of architecture is designed to provide aspiring scholars, practitioners, and academics in this field, with the academic opportunity and learning structure to develop skills and intellectual abilities towards a career and practice as critical scholars, senior academics, and substantive practitioners in the field of architecture and its allied areas. The degree would allow scholars and academic in furthering their work and interests through publications, fellowships, and appointment of governmental and other public projects, as well as allow one to participate in architectural or design and planning practice with more criticality and substantively.

Eligibility
The Master’s degree should be passed with at least 55% marks in aggregate OR its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 – point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is allowed)
A) Ph.D. in Architecture: (Full time and Part time)
OR
An equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
